  • Welcome back
i told ppl many times but they won't listen.
I don't know cuh the only times we've ever interacted about religion were in Christian threads, with you saying shit like "dead liar on a stick" and I replying back with "dead religion btw".
I thought you were just ragebaiting. Never had a proper conversation about your faith.

I guess that's my fault though, should've been more curious.

I think some anglican churches hold Martin Luther as a saint, maybe (probably) lutherans do too.
They aren't too fond of icons though I think, they mostly have statues of them.

fair enough but hey, they started shit. my religion isn't really a missionary religion DOE, so not that many are interested.

I don't think pagans are interested in spreading their religions at all. Since to them, local gods exist, they're fine with believeing in their own local gods and don't care for what exists beyond. At least that's my understanding of it. Certainly, romans and greeks had an understanding that Neptune and Poseidon were the same God with different names. I don't know.
I'm not a historian.

What do you even do to practice your religion, do you like cook an alive lobster as a sacrifice or something
give offerings like incenses, fragrances, and stuff.

fyi, lobsters are always cooked alive, since lobster meat spoils immediately after death and harmful bacteria can multiply. plus, it's not that tasty after death.

anyway, i won't derail any further, so if you have any questions then you can go on my mesosmerican repository thread:

ill try to respond as quick as i can.

I don't read greek.
Who are these saints ?
It's 2 different icons of the same saint, it's Saint John of Damascus
Don't know of this saint either.
An ottoman martyr I suppose ?
Correct, this is Saint John of Tourkoleka
When the Ottomans beheaded his father in front of him and asked him to become a Muslim, he did the sign of the cross and said "Wherever my father went I will go also"
